How to Use (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Cut the PE pipe at a right angle. Use pipe shears or a sharp knife for this. Ensure a clean cut (see Figure 1).
- Step 2: Carefully deburr the pipe end. Remove all sharp edges to avoid damage to the seal (see Figure 2).
- Step 3: Loosen the union nut of the fitting. Slide the union nut and the clamping ring over the pipe end (see Figure 3).
- Step 4: Insert the pipe end into the fitting body until it stops (see Figure 4).
- Step 5: Tighten the union nut by hand. If necessary, use a wrench to lightly tighten the nut (see Figure 5).
- Step 6: Check the tightness of the connection. Open the water supply and check the fitting for leaks (see Figure 6).
