- Step 1: Cut the Pipe. Use a metal saw or fine saw to cut the HT pipe to the required length. Use a miter box for a clean cut.
- Step 2: Chamfer the Saw Edges. Chamfer the saw edges to ensure a proper connection.
- Step 3: Remove Burrs. Remove any interior burrs to prevent damage to the seals and deposits.
- Step 4: Prepare Push-Fit Connection. Insert the pipe with the beveled end (spigot end) into the socket of the other pipe or fitting.
- Step 5: Create Length Compensation. After joining, pull the pipe out about 1 cm to allow for length compensation.
- Step 6: Observe Slope. Maintain a minimum slope of 2 cm per meter to avoid blockages and clogs.
