Info: Annual. Wax flowers are very attractive flowers with bright blue blooms and equally blue bracts as well as gray-green oval fleshy leaves. Height about 60 cm.
Care: Pre-cultivation from March in a warm place (greenhouse/ window sill) in pots, sown about 0.5 - 1 cm deep. Cover pots with plastic film (clear). Use sowing soil. Keep temperatures and humidity constant. From May (frost-free) it can be sown directly into the open ground. Planting distance: 30x30cm.
Use: It is ideal for beds and borders as well as for pots and bowls and rock gardens. Insect food plant and bee's favorite!
Gardener's tip: If the soil is not too wet in winter, many plants can overwinter and bloom in the next early summer. Prefer humus, well-drained soil.

Germination: 10 - 21 days at 20 - 25°C
