Info: This Asian specialty is perennial. The leaves are dark green, trilobed, slightly serrated, and taste reminiscent of celery to a carrot-like aroma. Similar to local parsley, Japanese parsley is an umbellifer. Growth height 40 - 50 cm.

Care: Sowing depth: approx. 0.5 - 1 cm. Row spacing: 20 - 30 cm. Loves sunny to partially shaded locations on all nutrient-rich, humus garden soils. Keep evenly moist. Plant spacing approx. 15x15 cm.

Use: Use like native parsley to season salads and soups. The roots can be prepared as vegetables.

Gardener's tip: The leaves and stems are suitable for seasoning soups and dishes, as well as decorating dishes. Frost protection recommended for overwintering.

Sowing: Outdoors: March - August

Germination: 20 - 30 days at 12 - 20°C
