Care: Sow all year round on the windowsill or from the end of April to June outdoors, as it is frost-sensitive. Just press the seeds and do not cover with soil (light germinator). Outdoors: Row spacing 25 cm. Thin out to a spacing of 10x25 cm. On the windowsill, about 15 seeds per pot. Only water in extreme heat, as the herb tolerates a lot of drought.
Use: Best suited for potato and stew dishes and beans. It contains a lot of essential oil and therefore helps to better digest heavy dishes.
Gardener's tip: Savory retains its aroma when dried. To dry, it is cut just before flowering and dried in a warm place with low humidity.
Sowing: All year round on the windowsill; Outdoors: April - June
Germination: 8 - 10 days at 16 - 20°C
Location: On the windowsill: bright and warm; outdoors: sunny
Harvest: All year round on the windowsill; outdoors: June to frost
