Threaded Fitting Stainless Steel Union 1 1/2" FF Type Conical
The union has 2 female threads, which are screwed together by a union nut and can be separated from each other. To seal the thread, you additionally need a suitable thread sealing material. Hemp or Teflon tape is suitable here. The thread is the common Whitworth pipe thread used in water technology. The external threads are conical.

Advantages of Stainless Steel Fittings:
All stainless steel fittings listed here are permanently corrosion-resistant and, unlike welded fittings or press fittings, can be loosened again. The threads allow for a seamless transition to other materials without the need for a transition fitting. The stainless steel unions do not require gaskets, making use up to 200 °C possible without any issues.
Thread Type:
The threads of all pipe unions are manufactured according to the common standards ISO 7-1/EN 10226-1 (internal and external threads) as well as ISO 228-1 (union nuts of the unions). The external threads are conical/tapered. The internal threads are parallel/cylindrical. All threads are specified in inches as standard. The threads are sealed with a suitable thread sealing material such as PTFE thread sealing tape or thread sealing hemp.
