Malleable cast iron fittings are pipe connection parts generally used for the transmission of liquids and gases. The areas of application are extremely diverse: from sanitary, heating, and gas installations to refrigeration and air conditioning systems, sprinkler and gas extinguishing systems, industrial plant construction, mechanical engineering, gas station construction, paper and printing machine construction to commercial vehicle construction.
The threaded connections are not self-sealing. For sealing, e.g., Teflon tape or hemp should be used.
