- Step 2: Wrap sealing tape or hemp around the male threads to ensure a tight seal. – See Figure 2.
- Step 3: Screw the Reduced Nipple onto the corresponding threads of the pipes. Make sure the threads engage correctly. – See Figure 3.
- Step 4: Tighten the connection with a wrench. Be careful not to overtighten the connection to avoid damage. – See Figure 4.
- Step 5: Check the tightness of the connection by running water or pressure through the pipes. If there are any leaks, tighten the connection if necessary.
