How to Use (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Prepare the PVC pipes or fittings that you want to connect to the slide gate valve. Make sure the ends are clean and free of burrs.
- Step 2: Apply PVC adhesive to the inside of the valve's glue sockets and to the outside of the pipes/fittings.
- Step 3: Slide the pipes/fittings into the glue sockets and hold them in place for a few seconds until the glue has set.
- Step 4: Allow the adhesive to harden completely according to the manufacturer's instructions before putting the system into operation.
- Step 5: Check the tightness of the connections by filling the system with water and checking for leaks.
