Info: Ideal variety for summer cultivation with large heads and curly, brown-edged leaves. Resistant to bolting. Even with several days of storage in the refrigerator (ice?salad), the leaves remain crisp and fresh. Pleasant taste. For crisp salads and garnishing.
Care: Sow 0.5 cm deep (diffuse light promotes germination) in rows spaced 40 cm apart. Press the seeds, cover with soil and keep moist. If necessary, thin to 30x40 cm. Plant rather high - rot! Loves sunny locations and humus-rich, preferably sandy-loamy soils. Keep evenly moist.
Tip: Pre-cultivation in a cool house or cold frame is possible, transplant after 3 - 5 weeks. Temperatures above 18°C can inhibit germination.

Germination: 8 - 15 days at 10 - 15°C
