How to Use: Grow Your Own Oakleaf Lettuce
- Step 1: Sowing: Pre-grow indoors from March or sow directly outdoors from April to August. Sow the seeds about 0.5 cm deep in rows with 30 cm spacing. (See Figure 1)
- Step 2: Care: Press the seeds, cover with soil, and keep moist. If necessary, thin the plants to 25 cm.
- Step 3: Location: Oakleaf lettuce loves sunny to partially shaded locations and all good, humous garden soils.
- Step 4: Watering: Keep evenly moist, but avoid waterlogging.
- Step 5: Harvest: From May to October, depending on the sowing date, pick the leaves as needed.
