Brand Quedlinburger

Info: Annual kitchen herb with finely feathered leaves that have a pleasantly spicy-aromatic taste. Grows up to 100 cm high and yields a high harvest. Seeds and flowers are used for pickling cucumbers. The finely chopped leaves season vinegar, cucumber salad, dill sauces, and herb butter. Suitable for freezing and drying.

Care: Germination temperature not below 15°C. Sow in rows with 20 cm distance, press lightly, cover lightly or thinly with soil (light germinator!) and keep moist. Thin out strong plants to 5 - 10 cm distance. Prefers sunny to semi-shady locations on all well-drained garden soils without waterlogging.

Tip: Harvest leaves when flowering, at this point the highest content of aroma-producing essential oils is reached.

Sowing: May - July in the open field

Germination: 10 - 30 days at 15 - 20°C, light germinator

Harvest: June - October
