Product Features and Benefits
- High-Quality PVC-U Material: The ball valve is made of robust PVC-U, which offers high resistance to chemicals and UV radiation. For you, this means a long service life and reliable use, even under demanding conditions.
- Easy Installation: Thanks to the socket connection with a 32 mm diameter, the ball valve can be quickly and easily integrated into your existing PVC pipe system. You save time and effort during installation.
- Optimal Seal: The ball valve ensures a perfect seal, even under difficult conditions. This ensures that no liquids leak and your system functions reliably.
- Versatile Applications: Whether in the pool, pond, aquarium, or in industrial applications – this ball valve is versatile. You benefit from a flexible product that is suitable for various purposes.
- PN16 Pressure Resistance: The ball valve is designed for an operating pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C. This guarantees you high safety and reliability, even at higher pressures.
Advantages
- Low Weight: Compared to metal fittings, the PVC-U ball valve is significantly lighter, which simplifies handling and installation.
- Easy Processing: PVC-U is easy to process and connect with special adhesive (fusion welding).
- Abrasion-Resistant and Smooth: The material is abrasion-resistant and offers a smooth surface, which minimizes deposits.
- Chemical Resistant: PVC-U is resistant to a variety of chemicals, allowing it to be used in various environments.
- High Load Capacity: Despite its low weight, PVC-U is extremely resilient and can withstand high pressures.
- No Corrosion: Unlike metal, PVC-U does not corrode, which significantly extends its service life.
- Cost-Effective: PVC-U fittings are generally less expensive than comparable products made of other materials.
Application
- Step 1: Preparation: Make sure the pipe ends are clean and dry. Use a PVC cleaner to remove grease and dirt (see Figure 1).
- Step 2: Apply Adhesive: Apply PVC adhesive evenly to the inside of the ball valve socket and to the pipe end (see Figure 2).
- Step 3: Join Together: Quickly insert the pipe end into the socket and rotate it slightly to distribute the adhesive optimally (see Figure 3).
- Step 4: Allow to Cure: Allow the connection to cure according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions before putting the system into operation (see Figure 4).
- Step 5: Testing: Check the connection for leaks by pressurizing the system.
