How to Use the Eurokonus Compression Fitting

1. Step 1: Prepare the pipe – Cut the pipe at right angles and deburr it. See Figure 1.
2. Step 2: Slide on the union nut – Slide the union nut and the compression ring onto the pipe. Pay attention to the correct order.
3. Step 3: Mount the fitting – Insert the pipe into the Eurokonus fitting and tighten the union nut hand-tight.
4. Step 4: Tighten the fitting – Tighten the union nut with a wrench (appropriate size). Observe the recommended torque.
5. Step 5: Check for leaks – Check the connection for leaks. If necessary, tighten the union nut slightly.
