Application of the Plum Maggot Trap (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1:Remove all parts from the packaging (trap body, hanging wire, glue boards, pheromone capsules).
- Step 2:Unfold the trap body and insert the tabs into the slots provided to secure it.
- Step 3:Remove a pheromone capsule from the bag and place it in the middle of the glue board.
- Step 4:Slide the glue board into the trap.
- Step 5:Attach the hanging wire to the trap.
- Step 6:Hang the trap from mid-May at head height in a breezy spot near the trees to be protected.
- Step 7:Change the glue boards and pheromone capsules after 5 to 6 weeks.
- Step 8:Remove the trap body after harvest or early August and store it dry for the next application.
