Application – Step by Step

  1. Step 1: Cut the pipe – Use pipe shears to cut the composite pipe to the desired length.
  2. Step 2: Calibrate and deburr the pipe – After cutting, the pipe end must be calibrated and deburred with a calibrator.
  3. Step 3: Position union nut and clamping ring – Position the union nut and clamping ring on the pipe as shown.
  4. Step 4: Insert the nipple – Fully insert the nipple of the main body into the pipe.
  5. Step 5: Tighten the union nut – Push the clamping ring and union nut onto the fitting body until they stop and tighten by hand. Then tighten with a tool.
  6. Step 6: Check the connection – Check the connection for leaks.
