- Step 2: Calibrate and Deburr the Pipe – After cutting, the pipe end must be calibrated and deburred with a calibrator.
- Step 3: Position the Union Nut and Compression Ring – The union nut and compression ring should be positioned on the pipe as shown.
- Step 4: Insert the Nipple – Fully insert the nipple of the fitting body into the pipe.
- Step 5: Tighten the Union Nut – Push the compression ring and union nut onto the fitting body until they stop. Tighten the union nut by hand.
- Step 6: Check the Connection – Check the connection afterward.
