At what age is a Quax Mobile suitable?
The Quax mobiles can be used from birth (0 months). In the first weeks, babies primarily perceive contrasts and gentle movements. As soon as your child can grasp independently (around the 5th–6th month), you should remove the mobile from reach to prevent pulling it down. The figures are securely attached, but as a precaution, we recommend switching to a play gym or activity center.
How is a Quax Mobile safely mounted?
Mounting is done either with the included clamp on the bed frame or with a ceiling mount (not included). Ensure that the mobile hangs at least 30 cm above the baby and is not positioned over the child's head or face. Regularly check that all connections are secure, especially after cleaning or moving the bed. Use only the designated attachment points.
Which material is better: lacquered or natural?
Both variants are made of solid wood and meet the same safety standards. The lacquered model (Möwe) is colorfully designed and easier to clean, as the lacquer layer protects against moisture. The natural model (Pelikan) shows the wood grain and is free of additional dyes – ideal for allergy sufferers or purist interiors. The choice depends on your personal taste and room design.
