3. Step 3: Apply the Oil - Apply a thin, even coat of decking oil using a brush, roller, or sprayer. Work in the direction of the wood grain (See Figure 3).
4. Step 4: Allow Penetration - Allow the oil to penetrate the wood for 15-30 minutes. The exact time will depend on the wood's porosity and the weather conditions (See Figure 4).
5. Step 5: Wipe Off Excess - Wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth to prevent a sticky or glossy finish (See Figure 5).
