- Step 4: Apply the Sealant - Squeeze the trigger of the caulking gun to apply a consistent bead of sealant along the joint or seam (See Figure 4).
- Step 5: Smooth the Sealant - Use a sealant smoothing tool or a wet finger to create a smooth, even finish (See Figure 5).
- Step 6: Clean Up - Remove any excess sealant with a damp cloth or solvent before it cures (See Figure 6).
- Step 7: Cure Time - Allow the sealant to cure completely before exposing it to water or stress, typically 24-48 hours (See Figure 7).
