How to Use (Step-by-Step)

1. Step 1: Preparation - Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any dirt, grease, or rust. Sand the surface lightly for better adhesion (See Figure 1).
2. Step 2: Masking - Mask off any areas you don't want to be coated with clear coat. Use painter's tape and paper or plastic sheeting (See Figure 2).
3. Step 3: Shaking - Shake the clear coat spray can vigorously for at least one minute to ensure the contents are properly mixed (See Figure 3).
4. Step 4: Application - Hold the can 10-12 inches away from the surface and apply a thin, even coat using a smooth, sweeping motion. Avoid holding the can in one spot to prevent runs (See Figure 4).
5. Step 5: Drying Time - Allow the first coat to dry for the recommended time (usually 10-15 minutes) before applying a second coat. Check the can for specific drying times (See Figure 5).
6. Step 6: Second Coat - Apply a second thin, even coat in the same manner as the first. This will enhance the gloss and durability of the finish (See Figure 6).
