How to Use (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Prepare the Surface: Clean the wood surface thoroughly with a deck cleaner to remove dirt, grime, and mildew. See Figure 1. Ensure the surface is completely dry before applying the oil.
- Step 2: Apply the Oil: Using a brush, roller, or cloth, apply a thin, even coat of Hardwood Decking Oil to the wood surface. See Figure 2. Work in the direction of the wood grain for best results.
- Step 3: Allow to Penetrate: Allow the oil to penetrate into the wood for 15-20 minutes. See Figure 3.
- Step 4: Wipe Off Excess: Use a clean cloth to wipe off any excess oil from the surface. See Figure 4. This will prevent a sticky residue from forming.
- Step 5: Allow to Dry: Allow the oil to dry completely for 24-48 hours before using the deck. See Figure 5.
