How to Use (Step-by-Step)

1. Step 1: Prepare the Surface: Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free from any previous finishes. Sand the surface smooth with fine-grit sandpaper. See Figure 1.
2. Step 2: Mix the 2K Oil: Carefully mix the two components of the 2K oil according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure thorough mixing for optimal performance.
3. Step 3: Apply the Oil: Apply a thin, even coat of the oil using a brush, roller, or lint-free cloth. Work with the grain of the wood for best results. See Figure 2.
4. Step 4: Allow to Penetrate: Let the oil penetrate the wood for approximately 10-15 minutes. This allows the oil to fully absorb into the wood fibers.
5. Step 5: Wipe Off Excess: Use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off any excess oil from the surface. This prevents a sticky or uneven finish. See Figure 3.
6. Step 6: Allow to Dry: Allow the oil to dry completely, following the manufacturer's recommended drying time. This typically takes 12-24 hours.
7. Step 7: Apply Additional Coats (Optional): For added protection and durability, apply additional thin coats of the oil, following the same steps. Lightly sand between coats for an even smoother finish.
