How to Use (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Remove any debris, dust, or existing adhesive residue. See Figure 1.
- Step 2: Apply the Adhesive: Using a notched trowel, spread the adhesive evenly over the subfloor. Follow the trowel manufacturer's recommendations for the appropriate notch size and adhesive thickness. See Figure 2.
- Step 3: Install the Flooring: Carefully place the wood flooring planks onto the adhesive, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Press firmly to create a strong bond. See Figure 3.
- Step 4: Allow to Cure: Allow the adhesive to cure completely according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically 24-48 hours, before allowing foot traffic on the newly installed floor. See Figure 4.
