How to Use (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Prepare the Surface - Ensure your wood floor is clean, dry, and free of any previous finishes or waxes. Sand the floor lightly to create a smooth surface for the finish to adhere to (See Figure 1).
- Step 2: Apply the Finish - Using a brush, roller, or pad applicator, apply a thin, even coat of the wood floor finish in the direction of the wood grain (See Figure 2).
- Step 3: Allow to Dry - Let the finish dry completely according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically 4-6 hours (See Figure 3).
- Step 4: Apply a Second Coat (Optional) - For added protection and durability, apply a second thin coat of finish, following the same application and drying process (See Figure 4).
- Step 5: Cure the Finish - Allow the finish to fully cure for at least 24-48 hours before heavy use. This will ensure the finish is fully hardened and protected (See Figure 5).
