Copper pots hammered with iron arch 28 cm
Made by machine, by casting, in smooth or hammered copper pots, with brass handles or iron arches, they offer something for every taste.
These copper casseroles are intended for cooking, usually squid or jam, but they can be used for many other dishes or even for brewing beer. They are made entirely of copper pots (inside and outside), with the exception of the handles (brass) or the bow (iron).
The copper braising pots are not tinned on the inside, and for this reason you must remove the food after cooking so that the copper pot does not oxidize and the food does not absorb toxins.
In southern Portugal and in Spanish gastronomy, it is a tradition to cook the squid in a copper stew to give it a characteristic taste.
All copper casseroles have a flat bottom and can be used on a ceramic hob, gas or wood stove. They should never be used on induction hobs.
