Copper pan, copper frying pan, copper frypan, 18 cm

Copper pan 18 cm is the go-to cooking utensil for professional kitchens and everyday use. Made of copper and brass, it is an excellent conductor of heat and evenly distributes the heat all over the device. This property makes it a great energy saver as it heats up very quickly and requires low heat to cook.

Main Characteristics:

  • Excellent heat conductor
  • Distributes heat evenly
  • Quick to heat up
  • Energy-saving
  • Painted on the outside
  • Lacquered to prevent oxidization
  • Paint removal necessary before first use
  • Material: copper and brass
  • Weight: 0.56 kg
  • Height x diameter: 40 mm x 190 mm

It is painted on the outside, making it important to remove the paint before using the utensil for the first time. Some of our products are lacquered to prevent them from oxidizing or losing their shine during storage, including decorative products.

If it is varnished, it is imperative to remove the varnish before use to avoid discoloration due to the heat of the oven. We recommend following these instructions to remove the paint:

  1. Fill a large container with water and soak the piece you want to remove the varnish from;
  2. For every liter of water, add a tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate;
  3. Put it on the stove and let it cook for 15 minutes. You will see how the lacquer layer separates from the product;
  4. Wash the utensil with soap and water, dry the inside with a clean cloth and, if you want to preserve the outer shine of the piece, use a special product for cleaning metals;

If, at the end of the cleaning process, you notice that there is still varnish in some areas, you can easily remove it with a cloth soaked in acetone.
