I want to plant ground cover, will the weed control fabric grow through quickly enough so the ground cover can spread?

The mulch fleece with 70 g/m² is designed to suppress weeds from below in the long term and is very durable. It does not rot quickly to ensure permanent protection and prevent rapid growth of ground cover.

Would like to know if a mulch layer alone is enough or if the fleece is better for weed prevention.

For reliable weed protection, the use of mulch fleece is highly recommended. A mulch layer alone, even with sufficient thickness, cannot always prevent weeds from growing through, the fleece offers an additional barrier here.

Is the fleece also suitable for gentle slopes without the mulch slipping?

Our mulch fleece is smooth, as is usual with such materials. On steeper slopes, mulch material can slip, depending on its nature and the slope. Earth anchors can help to fix the fleece.

The fleece should be under lava mulch, is it also permeable to water or will the water then stay on top?

The brown mulch fleece is designed to be water and nutrient permeable to optimally supply the plants. An initial slight water repellency can occur with new material, but disappears after 1-2 weeks of use.

my garden bed is about 25m2, is this roll enough for that
