Electric pasture fences ensure secure enclosure of pastures for cattle or other grazing animals. Robust electric fences made of aluminum pasture fence wire are suitable for cattle grazing. The wire carries the current through the fence, meaning it is under electrical voltage. Every contact by the grazing animal triggers an electrical impulse and acts as a deterrent. Depending on the animal species and the length of the fence, different requirements apply to the fence material. For bare wires, aluminum or steel are usually used, unlike ropes, stranded wires, or tapes. With a diameter of 2 mm, aluminum wires offer a high level of herding security. The low electrical resistance of 0.1 ohms and four times higher conductivity allow for use over long fence runs. Unlike rigid steel wire, aluminum wire can be flexibly bent and easily installed. At 110 kg, aluminum electric fence wire weighs around 60 percent less than iron or steel wire, making it easier to transport and process the 400 m roll.
