The Taurus 3 locomotive E 91 (1216 940), delivered to the Salzburger Lokalbahn (SLB) in 2008, was the main locomotive of the so-called "Kaindl Shuttle," a container train from the Liefering terminal to Hüttau and back. As part of the restructuring of Salzburg AG's freight transport, the locomotive was sold to DPB Rail Infra Service GmbH in June 2021.
DPB Rail Infra Service is an independent railway company and a long-standing partner of ÖBB in the areas of control and signaling technology for railway infrastructure. The multi-system electric locomotive is an excellent addition to the company's freight transport division.
