The powerful 25.4 cm³ 2-stroke petrol engine and the high-quality 10" or 25 cm ProCut bar make the Scheppach CSP2540 petrol tree care saw the ideal tool for tree and garden care, for thinning trees and shrubs, and for limbing. With a cutting thickness of 20 cm, it is a handy chainsaw for smaller cutting and felling work.
A built-in high-performance air filter extends the service life of the engine.
The chain lubrication is automatic, so you don't have to worry about it while you work. The chain can also be re-tensioned at any time and without tools using an adjusting wheel and the quick-release chain system. This, along with the petrol engine, gives the CSP2540 chainsaw a high degree of flexibility, as it can be used anywhere, anytime.
For maximum comfort, the petrol chainsaw is equipped with an anti-vibration system. The vibrations from the engine on the handles are significantly reduced, allowing longer working periods without fatigue for the user. The low weight of just 3.5 kg also contributes to relaxed working.
Even more important than the high degree of comfort are the built-in safety mechanisms. The large metal claw stop allows the engine block to be secured to the wood when sawing with the chain running in. This makes uncontrolled swinging of the chainsaw more difficult. It can also be used as leverage to exert pressure on the saw chain. In the event of a kickback, the chain brake stops within a few milliseconds.
