With these poultry tongs, poultry can be killed immediately, bleeding it out and preventing unnecessary suffering.
Hang the poultry by its legs. Hold the head in your left hand and press firmly with your thumb on the base of the skull. The bird's beak will then open wide. Insert the blade of the tongs deep into the throat. Turn the tongs 1/4 turn to align the blade vertically. This way, the "hollowed out" part of the tongs will be on the animal's skull, directly behind the comb. The tip of the blade should be inserted into the throat at a slight angle. The tongs are in the correct position. Close the tongs firmly to kill the bird. The blade will sever the artery, and blood flow should be intense. Afterward, the muscles will relax, and the bird can be plucked easily and efficiently.
