The Wilesco D6 steam engine features a highly polished and nickel-plated brass boiler and an oscillating cylinder. The water level indicator is designed as a sight glass, allowing the water level to be checked at any time during operation. The boiler capacity is 135 cm³ and the boiler dimensions are 100 x 45 mm. The flywheel, with its 70 mm diameter, ensures smooth running. The screwed-on dome steam whistle can be operated at any time during operation using a special lever. Its sweet sound is somewhat reminiscent of Emma, the engine from "Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver." When installing the lever for the steam whistle on your D6, please ensure that the lever, made of black, heat-resistant plastic, is facing outwards. This allows you to operate the lever during operation without touching the boiler.
