I want to plant ground cover and put the fleece underneath. Does the fleece rot over time so the plants can grow through?

The organic mulch fleece is UV-stabilized and designed as a long-lasting weed barrier. It is not intended to rot, but to suppress weeds for many years. For ground cover that is supposed to spread out, it is therefore not ideal, as they cannot root through the fleece.

I read that some fleeces are initially a bit impermeable. Wanted to know if you can water the roses immediately after laying them or if the fleece has to be watered first?

We want to lay the fleece on a slightly sloping surface under bark mulch. Will the mulch then hold better on the slope?

This fleece has been specially developed for use as a weed stopper. It is ideal for laying under mulch, gravel, paving slabs, and much more. The fleece is permeable to water and nutrients. It also serves as a water and heat reservoir.

The fleece is also excellent for use under pond liners, sandboxes, patios, etc.
