ResponseNo, the adhesive is only temperature resistant up to 150 degrees Celsius. Grill grates reach significantly higher temperatures, so it is not suitable for this purpose.

ResponseThe product description emphasizes that the glue is for gluing instead of welding and soldering, which primarily indicates metal applications. There is no specific information on suitability for plastic or rubber.
An adhesive surface of just 1 x 1 cm can withstand a tensile strength of 148 kg/cm² after repair. With JB Weld you bond instead of welding, soldering or dowelling.
After JB Weld has completely cured, it can be painted, varnished, sawed, doweled, sanded or sanded as if it were metal. Curing depends on the ambient temperature and the mixing ratio – the adhesive should only be used at an ambient temperature of 11°C. JB Weld does not shrink or crack during the curing process.
A clean bonded seam remains clean (as with soldering or welding), a smooth surface remains smooth. The cured adhesive is waterproof, withstands temperatures down to -60°C and up to +150°C, oils, acids, gasoline, and chemicals (even battery acid).
The adhesive can be washed off hands with soap and water during processing. It has no odor because it is solvent-free. Adhesive (28.4 g) + hardener (28.4 g) together.
