Dirty water pumps are used when heavily contaminated liquids need to be removed, e.g. This can be particularly useful in applications such as after severe flooding, in polluted ponds or cisterns, or when draining excavations. Then they have to move not only water but also dirt particles. This significantly increases the strain on the material and the motor's performance.

It's good if it's an AL-KO pump. Thanks to the special vortex impeller geometry, the DRAIN 12000 Comfort model effortlessly handles even heavily contaminated water with up to 5 percent suspended debris and grain sizes up to 30 mm. A maintenance-free motor, the specially treated stainless steel motor shaft, and the glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene housing guarantee a long service life for AL-KO dirty water pumps.

Thanks to the practical integrated carrying handle and 10 m long power cable, as well as its weight of only around 6.9 kg, the dirty water pump can be used mobile or stationary for drainage – including clear water, of course. However, thanks to its compact dimensions of 23.9 x 19.0 x 35.3 cm, its solid housing, and its durable pump motor, it is also ideally suited as a pond pump or rainwater tank pump. The AL-KO DRAIN 12000 Comfort submersible pump can easily handle even coarser water debris thanks to its extra-large intake openings. Both clear and dirty liquids with a particle size of up to 30 mm are pumped out quickly and safely.

The specially treated motor shaft, made of durable stainless steel, and the glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene housing ensure a long service life for this practical helper. With its very powerful 850 W output and a flow rate of up to 12,000 l/h, emptying and transferring is completed in no time. The AL-KO DRAIN 12000 Comfort submersible pump is equipped with a float switch and starts the pumping process automatically thanks to automatic level control. It is designed for submersion depths of up to 5 m. With a discharge head of up to 10 m, even very great depths can be achieved. The pump outlet measures 1.25 inches, which corresponds to approximately 41.9 mm. The 90° angle connection features a universal connector, and the included combination nipple allows connection to all standard hose sizes. It has a shallow suction capacity of up to 40 mm.

Note: The submersible pump is not suitable for drinking water, but only for domestic water below 35°C. It is also not suitable for use in salt water, water containing aggressive chemicals, or water containing sand.
