The bee house, which is especially suitable for kitchen gardens and orchards, is made from local materials and is "Made in Germany." Each handmade, unique piece offers these beneficial pollinators a natural nesting option and thus an optimal habitat.
Protect bees and promote beneficial insects. Insects are a central component of our ecosystem. Many beneficial species regulate pest populations and pollinate plants, allowing seeds and fruit to develop. Not only honeybees, but also our native wild bee species play an important role in this. For example, approximately 600 female horned mason bees can be enough to pollinate one hectare of fruit trees. Unfortunately, the insect population has declined dramatically. According to the Red List, over half of wild bees are experiencing population declines, are threatened, or are already extinct. This can have dramatic effects on biodiversity and food production. In our cultivated landscape, but also in many gardens, there are only a few suitable food sources and shelter options for these useful helpers.
