In the years around 1935, the Klemm 25 was certainly the most popular sports aircraft in Germany. This was particularly evident in 1935, when no fewer than 111 Klemm 25s from the d and e series took part in the Deutschlandflug (Germany Flight) out of 161 aircraft registered. The Klemm 25 has been one of the most popular kit models in the Krick range for many years.
Therefore, it was time to properly adapt this design to the latest production and construction methods. Thanks to the targeted use of laser technology, all plywood and balsa wood parts are designed to create a plug-in construction that is simple and self-explanatory, a lot of fun, and allows for a beautiful, warp-free shell to be built very quickly without the need for special tools. Nevertheless, emphasis was still placed on scale accuracy and achieving the true-to-scale flight characteristics of this classic.
Compared to the previous design, many model aircraft pilots' requests for modern construction have been incorporated. For example, the wing center section with landing gear is now firmly attached to the fuselage, and both wing halves are attached. The aileron servos are housed in the wing. Furthermore, the entire cockpit area, starting with the engine cowling, has been designed to be removable with a magnetic holder to allow optimal and convenient access to the RC area. Despite all these improvements, the model is still just as light as its predecessor and has the same impressive flight characteristics as the original. The kit contains all wooden parts cut out in the finest laser quality, all linkage parts, cockpit windows, landing gear parts and wheels, the deep-drawn engine hood and the decal sheet with the lettering. Detailed, illustrated instructions make construction very easy.
