The Volvo FH16 is one of the most popular trucks among drivers. This highlight is now also available as a TAMIYA model, in a timber transporter version. The model is delivered as a kit and includes numerous accessories such as photo-etched parts for the radiator grille, turnbuckles with chains for load securing, and much more. The over 70 cm long model is driven via the two rear axles. The powerful TAMIYA TR Mighty Tuned truck motor (35T) provides sufficient power, and the chunky tires ensure good traction. The TAMIYA MFC-03 multifunction unit (300056523) is recommended for the drive, lighting, and sound. Due to the model's enormous length, only the standard MFC LEDs need to be replaced with the special ones with longer cables (56549 to 56551). The FH16 is the first TAMIYA truck model with a permanently bolted driver's cab. This allows the MFC to be installed behind the seats and the interior is fully visible.
