Legal regulations and general information:

1. Helmet requirement

If the safety belt is fastened, wearing a helmet is not mandatory. If the E-Carrier 25 is ridden without a belt, wearing a helmet is mandatory.

2. Liability insurance

The E-Carrier 25 requires liability insurance. Upon taking out this insurance, you will receive an insurance license plate (colloquially known as a moped license plate), which must be affixed to the vehicle (proof of existing insurance).

An EU type approval (EEC) is included with the scooter. With this vehicle registration document, you can obtain a license plate from the insurance company of your choice.

3. Driver's License

A moped driving license is required for operation. Minimum age 15. Holders of driving licenses classes A, B, and T do not require a license. Persons born before April 1, 1965, do not require a license or driver's license.

4. Vehicle Class

The Rolektro E-Carrier 25 is assigned to vehicle class L2e-P.
