When switching on welding machines, shredders, angle grinders, etc., the fuse often blows. The reason for this is the high inrush currents, which are present for a short time but reach many times the rated current of the circuit breaker.
The inrush current damping limits the inrush current to a value that does not cause the fuse to trip.
Caution
If several devices are connected simultaneously, the inrush current damping has no function.
