Many plastics cannot be bonded without pretreatment, or can only be bonded to a limited extent. Pretreating the plastics with WESTFALIA Primer No. 7 changes the surface structure.
This enables the bonding of otherwise difficult-to-bond plastics such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).
Thermoelastic elastomers (TPE) and PTFE, and related plastics such as silicone, can also be bonded with WESTFALIA Primer No. 7 after pretreatment.
