Piggyback with a difference...

The Goldhofer TU4 with the "Made in Germany" seal of quality corresponds to its original down to the last detail and demonstrates the high standards that CARSON-MODEL SPORT sets for its products. Technically, the model of the Goldhofer TU4 semi-trailer has many special features:
The main frame/chassis and the bogie are made of 1mm thick steel (lasered/CNC bent). After being cut out, they are simply put together and assembled with a few screws. To make maneuvering easier, the bogie is equipped with double ball bearings and sliding discs. The two pairs of axles are suspended on leaf springs and even compensate for the rough road through some construction sites. Each axle is equipped with non-slip twin tires, and the plastic rims have double ball bearings.
Depending on the load, the one-piece ramps (steel) with wooden decking can be folded down manually and adjusted in width. Should the vehicle be wider, the included extensions can be folded out and widened with optionally available wooden planks (item no.: 500907449). A matching storage compartment for the wooden planks is included in this set and is simply mounted in the designated location below the loading area. This means that even heavier models can be transported to the next location.
