Parts contaminated with polyurethane must be sprayed intensively with the cleaner until the dirt is removed. The dissolved polyurethane foam can be absorbed with a rag or absorbent paper. For heavily soiled areas, repeat the process and allow the cleaner to work for a while if necessary.
After removing a PU gun foam can, first spray the adapter with PU cleaner with the spray head attached, then spray any residue in the valve and wipe it off. To clean the PU foam gun, remove the spray head and carefully screw the cleaner can onto the gun. For safety, hold the gun trigger pressed. As soon as cleaner flows from the muzzle, the trigger can be released. Then let the cleaner work for about 2 minutes and then, by pulling the trigger, rinse the gun until only clear cleaner comes out of the muzzle.
