Brand Tamiya

1996 was the year of the TAMIYA Fighter Buggy RX. This also marked the birth of the TAMIYA Fighter Cup in Germany, and it became a success story. This junior racing series is now 25 years old, and TAMIYA is presenting a special version of the Fighter RX: "Memorial" to mark the occasion.
Visually, it features a black body combined with gold rims.
Technically, the DT-01 chassis has been reissued almost unchanged. With its 2WD rear-wheel drive, rigid rear axle, and independent front suspension, the buggy is the symbol of an entry-level racing car.
In contrast to the original version from 25 years ago, the Memorial Version includes CVA oil-filled shock absorbers, an electronic speed controller, and a 540cc engine.
