The automatic chicken door has several functions for opening/closing the slider:

- Time-dependent control, a distinction can be made between weekdays and weekends

Safety features:
A time delay of the light signal can prevent accidental opening in the event of flashes or brief brightness.
If the slider encounters resistance from an animal during closing, the process is stopped and then continued.
The device switches off automatically if the motor is overloaded.
Both battery and mains operation are possible.
