Optimal grain spectrum:
While the fine crystals ensure an immediate de-icing effect, the coarser crystals guarantee the necessary long-term effect on thicker layers of ice and snow.

Salts with a slightly higher residual moisture content are generally used here (always within the range of TL-Streu, not to be compared with the known residual moisture of sea salt!).
