The 3-axle stake trailer from CARSON for transporting long timber or similarly long loads is a perfect complement to TAMIYA tractors.
The basis for the trailer is a newly developed, torsion-resistant frame (sandwich construction) made of 3 and 1 mm laser-cut sheet steel. A new suspension is also included; this can be optionally raised by 8 mm, thus compensating the fifth wheel ride height for a raised tractor. However, this can also be installed without the raised suspension; both suspension variants are included in the kit. The built-in shock absorber and air spring dummies function as adjustable spring travel limiters. This allows for greater axle articulation and reproduces a true-to-original driving pattern. Depending on the load and requirements, the six aluminum stake posts on the chassis can be continuously positioned or removed. These are loosened or tightened using the two countersunk grub screws. A solid steel front panel secures the load to the front of the tractor. Two work lights can be optionally mounted on the front panel and the rear frame; the mountings are already provided. A sturdy underbody guard and a steel spare wheel holder complete the model's detailing.
