hey, does this thing really charge TWO batteries at the same time? or is it one of those things where one waits for the other to finish?

Yes, the dual charger is suitable for all Maxxpack 18V batteries, regardless of their capacity. Thanks to the power of 2 x 3.5 A, even larger batteries are charged efficiently. For example, a 4.0 Ah battery is fully charged in about 70 minutes – this corresponds to about twice the charging time of a 2.0 Ah battery.

Yes, the charger is compatible with all 18V Maxxpack batteries, regardless of their capacity. Therefore, it also charges smaller batteries like 1.5 Ah models without any problems and efficiently (roughly: a 1.5 Ah battery would be fully charged in about 25-30 minutes).
