With Nuclear Alliance, the co-op upgrade pack for Fallout®, all scenarios from the base game and the Fallout: New California expansion can be played as cooperative versions. In a cooperative scenario, the survivors work together to achieve the scenario-specific objectives.
To better survive in the Wasteland, you select one faction from the scenario as your loyal faction before a game with this expansion. This faction supports you and gives you bonuses when a quest result would advance that faction's power marker. The other faction then becomes the enemy faction, making survival difficult. If your power marker reaches the last space on the scale, the game ends and you lose.
